Miami International Airport showcases animal causes

What a perfectly fabulous idea! At Miami International Airport there is a photo gallery featuring their Animal Services division. The displays speak to issues about pet overpopulation, the number of animals brought to the shelter and the importance of adoption. Imagine what might be possible if all airports featured similar images.

Does anyone know where those pictures come from? Are they actual dogs from the shelter or are they clipart?

I'm not positive, to tell you the truth. I was under the impression, from the original story I read, that the images were of shelter pets or former shelter pets, but cannot state it for a fact.

It would be wonderful to see in my local airport a similar project, using photos of pets who have been adopted from local shelters. That, alongside our sad statistics, might be something for people to think about while waiting for their plane.
